SIQNATURE host response test

HOST RESPONSE GENE EXPRESSION TEST FOR SEPSIS

Win time in high risk situations – rapidly discriminate between SIRS and sepsis

Clinicians face a significant challenge when a patient presents with SIRS- or sepsis-like symptoms.

Conventional clinical techniques do not provide rapid, clear-cut answers to support the clinical decisions that must be made during the critical hours that follow.

SIRS-Lab developed a completely new biomarker approach to sepsis. The transcriptomic test SIQNATURE is intended to provide clinicians with a specific information that sepsis is occurring.
Multiple biomarker information in one score

The test is currently under development.

SIRS-Lab welcomes co-development enquiries from diagnostics and technology companies.

Fragebogen
1. In the daily clinical work with your patients, is reliable and quick "Sepsis Identification" a problem? If yes is it...

2. What is your standard diagnostic method to confirm a suspected sepsis?

3. Which diagnostic gaps and challenges do you see related to sepsis identification?

4. How would you rank sepsis identification and sepsis monitoring in terms of importance and/or difficulty in your daily clinical routine and why?
- Importance

- Difficulty

5. Which improvements do you require in the field of sepsis identification?

6. Assuming, you would have access to a rapid, reliable and easy-to-use sepsis identification and sepsis monitoring test - for what indications and patient cases would you routinely use such a test?

7. If you would solve the current gaps in sepsis identification and sepsis monitoring diagnostics, how would your patients profit from it?

8. If performance of sepsis identification and sepsis monitoring diagnostics would significantly improve, what would be the value for the health economic system?
